Leadership

• I led Changing Tunes as CEO through structural, staffing and financial crises — increasing reserves from two to seven months, securing £1,177,840 in income, improving staff wellbeing and removing an unsustainable franchise model.

• At Bristol Hospitality Network, I steered the organisation through COVID‑19 — growing income and staffing, improving operational systems, developing the board and delivering a three‑year strategy.

• As Co‑chair of Inns Court Community Centre, I governed through complex council agreements and staff challenges.

• As Trustee of Bridges for Communities I set up fundraising systems, created a Case for Support and wrote early trust and foundation bids. I recently co-lead the Director recruitment process, handling advert creation, shortlisting, interviews, the appointment and feedback.

Fundraising & Systems

Across my career, I have:

• Raised £3m+ for 19 charities via trusts, individuals and corporate funders; I have also secured funding from major trusts, including Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Comic Relief, National Lottery, Henry Smith, and various livery companies, to name but a few.

• Implemented three CRMs and built monitoring frameworks from scratch, delivering staff training on data capture, analysis and use.

• Authored multiple business plans, fundraising strategies and five cases for support; improved funding and finance administration to boost effectiveness
